Demonstrated his tenacity, after leading Springtime Magic in a heat of the 2001 Galaxy, when springing three toes going into the first corner, and despite that injury resulting in him nearly hitting the outside fence, he still managed to run second. Springtime Magic went on to win the final. The injury sustained led to a toe being amputated and ended his racing career.

HIS DAM: Angel Affair, threw City winners, track record breakers and Group 1 winners, such as Proper Tears, Henry Hand, Deep Love, Fine Azz, Springfire, Record Book etc. The line just keeps producing, with Deep Love throwing the likes of Lissiloo, Dr Van Loon and many other City winners
